When your nails match your snack which matches the water, you know its going to be a good snack😛 But really, this new flavor of @_freedombar is the perfectttt beach snack and might just be my new fav. Chocolately, coconuty, and literally only 6 ingredients. What gets better than that? On another note, thought I’d give you a little life update because I have some pretty exciting things coming up soon! This next week I’m going to be finishing up work, moving into my apartment and starting my junior year of college! Honestly can’t believe how fast time is flying but I’m just trying to enjoy the present, make the most of each moment and soak up every bit of summer before its gone Since I’ve been back from vacation I’ve been pretty busy and I have another busy week ahead, but I’m not complaining. game. changer. right here • • so i’ve been a huge fan of   @naturesbakery   fig bars for a while, at one point I was actually so obsessed with them that I had a list in my notes of all the flavors I tried and my rating of them😂😂 but anyways, today i was craving them and i I thought to put a little bit of strawberry jam in the middle. Frozen Banana Pops! 🍌🥥🍭🍫🥜 The perfect treat for a sunny Saturday afternoon - and they’re totally healthy, too! Super simple to make, and you can mix & match with your fav toppings! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *** - Bananas, ripe but not too soft is perfect - Popsicle sticks - Toppings! I used: Toasted coconut, Sprinkles, Nutella, Peanut butter, Greek Yogurt (chopped nuts or a caramel drizzle would also be👌🏼) 1. Peel and slice bananas in half. Insert a popsicle stick into each banana half, leaving a handle length. 2. Lay bananas on a sheet tray and freeze for at least an hour. 3. Prep toppings in bowls. For the peanut butter & Nutella, add some of each to a bowl and microwave - they’ll thin out & be easier to drizzle! Toast the coconut shreds in a pan until browned slightly. 4. Remove bananas from freezer and decorate each pop however you’d like! If not using PB or chocolate, the Greek yogourt works well for the sprinkles/coconut to stick to! 5. Return to the sheet tray, cover and freeze. 6. To eat, remove from freezer & enjoy!   #bananapopsicle     #frozenbananapops

Este fruto é naturalmente doce, graças à frutose, e não leva qualquer tipo do processamento, o que é muito importante. Além disso, é rico em antioxidantes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ BARRAS GELADAS DE CENOURA E COCO ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ingredientes: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ • Água; • 120g cenoura cortada em rodelas; • 200g tâmaras s/ caroço; • 10g miolo de amêndoa; • 15g coco ralado, mais q.b. p/ polvilhar; • 5g gengibre ralado (opcional); ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Modo de fazer: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Cozer a cenoura a vapor durante 20min. SNACK-ERDAY! I'm making this a thing..... . For my other busy active, or on the go peeps, as much as nothing beats homemade sometimes we need a little extra convince with our healthy diet and lifestyle! I love trying new tasty snack finds so have a whole load of good ones to share! . Fun fact - I spent a bit of time as a health food retail buyer; spending my days researching products, going to food shows, getting to know companies and some wonderful passionate foodies behind them, taste testing ALL the foods, scrutinising labels 🧐👌 . This week is a protein bar addition (funner fact - I also started my own protein bar business on the side from my kitchen in my old flat for a short while) with 3 of my favs..... . My absolute current top (tastiest of them all) being the one that hogged 3 pics to show off its gorgeous chocolatey salty insides 🤤   @rxbar   in chocolate sea salt flavour 🍫 so.damn.good! All their bars are super simple ingredient wise too, have a great texture and although not really high in protein (12g) has a good balance of carbs and fats to go with it. . The   @theprimalpantry   is an awesome   #plantbased     #preworkout   being fairly high in carbs (coming from dates again), lower in fats and gives a hefty dose of caffeine....I underestimated this but felt great during my training session! Nice light energy boost 💪 . Then a beef based bar from   @primesnacks   which also contains other   #wholefoods   including dried fruits and nuts. If you like things like beef jerky this is a great alternative! I love this for a nutrient boost, especially if not eating around training but just as a daily snack I prefer getting protein from meat over protein powders. This one impresses most with ingredients - grass fed beef being a top source of essential vits and minerals such as vitamin B and iron! . I have other favs but this post would be too long and there is only so much snacking to share at once 😋 (Second 2 available at sainsburys, and all online/on amazon)
